Following the acquisition of the major U.S.-based Coleman Research Group, Inc. in November 2021, we have expanded to seven global hubs across Tokyo, the U.S., Singapore, Hong Kong, and London. We are actively scaling our global presence alongside our continued growth in the Japanese market.

【About the Global ENS (Expert Network Service) Business】
We provide services for consulting firms and financial institutions that are instrumental in market research, industry analysis, and best-practice studies. We deliver high-precision global knowledge matching to meet professional demands. As a pioneer of the ENS industry in Japan, we aim to strengthen our market presence and evolve into a global product that transcends regional and linguistic barriers. Currently, we are also making significant investments in AI.

【Recruitment Background】
Until now, product development for our Global ENS business was primarily driven by teams in North America and Europe. However, due to the high growth rate of the Japanese market, we established a dedicated Japan team in 2025. To deliver value to our users with even greater speed and to accelerate our growth, we are looking to further expand our development organization in Japan. We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to take over management responsibilities currently held by our Co-CTO.

Role Overview

As the Engineering Manager of our newly established Japan team, you will provide both technical and organizational leadership. Your mission is to maximize the value of the development organization. You will be responsible for enhancing overall productivity and supporting engineer growth through performance evaluations, HR system design, development process optimization, and strategic recruitment planning.

・Improving Development Productivity
Investigate and strategize solutions for technical debt; develop and execute technical roadmaps.
Spearhead the introduction and implementation of AI-driven development tools.
Optimize end-to-end development processes.

・People Management
Conduct regular 1-on-1s, set goals, and perform evaluations for team members.
Design and refine engineering evaluation systems.
Drive recruitment efforts to expand the engineering team.

・Product Development Leadership
Lead projects for new feature development and new product launches.
Establish and maintain robust operations and maintenance frameworks for existing products.

Japan Hub: Co-CTO, Team Leads, Engineers, PdMs, Designers, Business Stakeholders, and External Partners.
US Hub: Senior PdMs, Engineers, and External Partners.
EU Hub: External Partners.

【Challenges & Expectations】
You will be entrusted with the management of our Japanese development organization (currently approximately 10 members). We expect you to solve challenges across a wide technical spectrum—ranging from AI-integrated product development to the resolution of technical debt. Your goal will be to elevate the overall performance of the team by designing evaluation systems, optimizing processes, and fostering an environment for engineer growth.

Furthermore, we plan to double the size of the Japan-based engineering team to 20 members in the next fiscal year. Consequently, we look forward to your active involvement in defining our recruitment strategies and scaling the organization.

・Directly Influence Core AI Product Development
You will be at the heart of Visasq's business, leading the development of our core AI products. While leveraging our massive existing assets—including a network of 700,000 experts and billions of yen in revenue—we are in the process of rebuilding our platform with an "AI-first" mindset. Rather than simply adding AI as a peripheral feature, we are reinventing our core search and matching engines with AI to efficiently connect clients with expert primary information. As an Engineering Manager, you will have the autonomy to drive this mission-critical initiative that directly impacts our business growth.

・Shape the Future of Our Japan-Based Development Organization
Having established our Japan development team in 2025, we are now in an exciting scaling phase. By joining us at this foundational stage, you will work closely with our Co-CTO and Senior PdMs to actively contribute to business and product strategies from a technical perspective. You will have the opportunity to exercise leadership and drive the success of the entire organization. Beyond managing mission-critical global systems and resolving technical debt, you will lead the creation of technical roadmaps for new AI-driven products and make key decisions regarding future-proof architecture and technology stacks.
